QUALIFICATION LEVELS
The European Certificate of Skilled Performance Combat has four levels
of training: -
- Level-1-Basic
Level-3-Advanced
- Level-2-Intermediate
Level-4-Instructor
The Level-1-Basic qualification acts as the foundation level. To advance
through the ECSPC training scheme, all students must enter at Level-1-
Basic. To successfully complete the Level-1-Basic qualification the
student must:
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of: -
- The mechanics of balance.
- The mechanics of stance and footwork.
- The mechanics and techniques of offensive and defensive
actions.
- Develop: -
- A basic conditioning of the muscles and the body.
- Balance, hand/foot and hand/eye coordination skills.
- Team working and team building skills.
- Strong creative, acting and stagecraft skills.
- Understand: -
- How stances, footwork and techniques are combined.
- Rhythm, style and historical application.
- Gain and demonstrate: -
- A complete understanding of the principles of safety
Further Study:
Once the student has successfully completed their Level-1-Basic
qualification they may progress to higher levels. They may also study a
single system specialisation.
