LOW BUDGET PRODUCTIONS &
STUDENT FILMS
The next generation of film-makers are
eagerly being sort after by large networks
and production companies. Low budget
productions, pilot episodes and short films
are renown for generating new talent and
exciting ideas. Action sequences can be
difficult and expensive to develop. At
STAGEFIGHT we can offer carefully
tailored sequences and routines that can
fall within the budget of a small production.
AMATEUR/SEMI-PROFESSIONAL
PRODUCTIONS
Amateur and semi-professional
productions are just as exciting as a fully
professional show. A stunning stage fight
can be the difference between a good
show and an amazing show. STAGEFIGHT
can provide highly skilled training that can
fall within the budget of any production.
Fees are negotiable and in
some cases weapons and
equipment provided free.
A Fight Director is a person who creates,
develops and orchestrates a sequence of
movements designed to safely portray
scenes of violence for staged or screened
performances. When a script calls for
actors to slap or push each other around
the stage, pull hair, fall down, get thrown,
draw a sword or face off in a duel, a
thorough understanding of safety and how
to perform these actions is essential.
STAGEFIGHT uses safe performance
combat techniques to choreograph
scenes of violence for both the stage and
screen. Dramatic action sequences can
be created and tailored to the needs of
the production and the strengths of the
individual performers. Safety is always
considered paramount throughout
training, pre-production and performance.
All routines are rehearsed carefully and
thoroughly to remove or minimise risk.
