February 2012:
With Christmas and the New Year now just a distant memory, January and February
2012 has been incredibly busy for the STAGEFIGHT team. Performance combat
tuesdays began again in January with our Level-1 students being introduced to the
joys of unarmed combat, and our Level-2 students getting to grips with dagger and
knife techniques.
Raph and Kaz have run several workshops for schools around the West Midlands and
also travelled down to Banbury to choreograph Beauty & The Beast for Banbury
Operatic Society. We’ve also been asked to work on a production coming soon to the
Crescent Theatre in Birmingham (more about that soon) and we’ll also be acting as
fight choreographers for a Zombie Movie to be filmed in the Midlands.
The beginning of March will also see the team flying out to Turin to work with Lame
Ribelli - our close friends in Italy - to run a workshop and act as examiners for their
ECSPC Level-1-Basic students.
We will be running an Intensive Level-1-Basic Performance combat course in
July - there is more information about this on our courses page.
